Sedivention is developing a cryo-balloon freezing the gastric branches of the vagal nerve from inside the stomach, in a procedure comparable to gastroscopy. The ambulatory intervention takes approximately 20 min. The costs of the intervention are far below costs of bariatric surgery without surgical morbidity and complications.
