Terms & Conditions of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the FundedIQ website (fundediq.co) and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Services Provided

FundedIQ provides funding intelligence on recently funded startups — company profiles, funding rounds and amounts, investor names, industry and location classification, key contact information, and related business insights. Services are delivered digitally as a weekly data file, as web access, and (on the Pro plan) as an application and API.

Two paid plans are offered:

  • Alerts — a weekly file covering companies funded in the preceding 7 days. Alerts has no historical archive; it begins the week you subscribe.
  • Pro — access to the full historical database, including search, filtering, exports and API access, subject to a monthly credit allowance.

Current prices and plan contents are published on the pricing page and form part of these Terms.

3. Subscriptions, trials and auto-renewal

  • Free trial. Both plans include a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start a trial. One trial is available per customer, across both plans.
  • Automatic renewal. At the end of the trial your subscription starts automatically and your payment method is charged. Subscriptions then renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or annually, as selected — at the then-current price for your plan, until cancelled.
  • Advance notice. We email you 3 days before the first charge following a trial. Renewal charges are receipted by our payment processor.
  • Cancelling. You may cancel at any time, without contacting us, through your account or the billing portal. Cancellation stops all future charges. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
  • Price changes. We may change prices for future billing periods. Existing subscribers are given at least 30 days’ notice by email before a change takes effect, and may cancel before it does.
  • Statement descriptor. Charges appear on your statement as FUNDEDIQ.CO.

4. Payments, currency and tax

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • All prices are stated in US dollars and are exclusive of any applicable VAT, GST or sales tax, which is calculated and added at checkout where required.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate billing and tax-identification details, and for any bank or currency-conversion fees your card issuer applies.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we retry it over a period of up to approximately three weeks. Access continues during that period. If payment is not recovered, the subscription is cancelled and access ends.

5. Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable, including partial or unused portions of a billing period, and including annual plans in whole or in part. The 14-day free trial is the evaluation period.

We do refund duplicate charges, and any charge taken after a cancellation was correctly recorded on our side. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction granting a statutory right of withdrawal for digital services, that right applies and is not waived.

6. Credits (Pro plan)

  • Pro includes a monthly allowance of credits. One credit unlocks one company record, exports one row, or makes one API call.
  • Re-unlocking a company you have already unlocked in the same billing period does not consume an additional credit.
  • Credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over. Unused credits have no cash value and are not refundable.
  • We may apply reasonable rate limits to protect service availability.

7. User obligations

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when purchasing or accessing our services.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account and access credentials. Accounts are for a single organisation and may not be shared with third parties.
  • You agree not to misuse or redistribute FundedIQ content in violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
  • You agree not to use the service for any unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
  • You agree to comply with all data privacy and communication laws (such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA) when using our data for outreach.
  • You agree not to circumvent credit limits, rate limits or access controls, including by automated scraping of the site or application.

8. Acceptable use of personal data

Our data includes personal data about individuals — names, business email addresses and professional profile links. When you receive that data you act as an independent data controller and you agree that:

  • You will use it only for legitimate business-to-business purposes;
  • You will not resell, sublicense, republish or otherwise redistribute contact data, in whole or in part;
  • You will honour opt-out, erasure and objection requests you receive directly, and will not continue contacting an individual who has asked you to stop;
  • You will apply appropriate security to any copies you hold, and will delete data you no longer have a legitimate purpose for;
  • You will comply with GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and any other applicable data-protection and electronic-marketing law in the territories you contact.

Breach of this section is grounds for immediate termination without refund. Individuals wishing to be removed from our database should see remove your data.

9. Data accuracy

Our data is compiled from public funding announcements and licensed third-party sources and is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that every record is complete, current or error-free, and coverage rates for individual fields are published on the pricing page rather than implied. Nothing on this site is investment advice.

10. Service providers

We use the following processors to operate the service: Stripe (payments, billing, tax), Resend (email delivery), Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting) and Pirsch Analytics (cookieless website analytics). Details are in our privacy policy.

11. Intellectual property

All content, data, and materials provided by FundedIQ — including startup lists, datasets, branding, and website content — are the property of FundedIQ and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized distribution, resale, or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

Subject to these Terms and to a subscription in good standing, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the data internally within your organisation. That licence ends when your subscription ends.

12. Limitation of liability

FundedIQ shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services, including but not limited to lost opportunities, business disruption, or data inaccuracies. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Service availability

We aim to publish a data file each week, but delivery depends in part on third-party data sources. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and a delayed or skipped weekly issue is not grounds for a refund. Where a week’s data is unavailable we will tell you rather than send an incomplete file.

14. Termination

FundedIQ reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, without prior notice, for violations of these Terms, misuse of data, or any activity deemed harmful to FundedIQ or its clients. Where we terminate for breach, no refund is due.

15. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. Nothing in this clause removes a consumer’s right to bring proceedings in their country of residence where local law grants that right.

16. Changes to Terms

FundedIQ reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes affecting existing subscribers will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Delivery policy

  • FundedIQ services are 100% digital. No physical products are shipped.
  • Weekly data files are delivered by email as time-limited, per-recipient download links. Links expire and are re-checked against your subscription status, so they stop working if the subscription lapses.
  • Application and API access, where included in your plan, is granted on account activation.
