Remove your data

How to request removal

Email privacy@fundediq.co from the address you want removed, or from any address if you tell us which record you mean. Include:

• Your name as it appears on the site, and your company website
• A link to the FundedIQ page showing the record, if you have one

We reply to confirm, and complete the removal within 30 days. There is no charge and we will not ask you to create an account first.

What removal actually does

• Your personal record — name, email address, LinkedIn profile, job title — is deleted from our database.
• Your details are added to a permanent suppression list that our weekly data pipeline checks on every run. This is the part that matters: our data arrives weekly from a third-party source, and without suppression the next refresh would simply re-add you.
• Files already downloaded by subscribers before your request cannot be recalled, but the download links we issue expire and are re-checked against live data, so future issues will not contain you.

What we keep, and why

Company-level facts — the company name, its website, its funding rounds, the amounts and the investors — are business information about an organisation rather than personal data about you, and stay on the site. If you believe a company record about you personally is inaccurate, tell us and we will correct it.

We keep the minimum record needed to honour the suppression itself (a hashed identifier and the date of your request). Deleting that too would mean we could not stop you being re-added.

Where our data comes from

Funding announcements and company profiles are compiled from public funding announcements and a licensed third-party data provider. We do not scrape private accounts, and we have never held phone numbers for anyone.
