Heaten
Heaten is an industrial start-up, tackling one of the most difficult problems for numerous industries, namely, to accelerate the electrification of heat with the prospect of deep-decarbonization, while providing viable roadmaps, both technically and economically to rapidly de-carbonize industrial heating processes. Heaten is a start-up with an 8 years R&D history in heat-to-power (Organic Ranking Cycle) and power-to-heat machines (heat pump). Our technology platform and knowledge are leading the efforts to deliver process temperatures of currently realized 165 degrees Celsius which covers 30% of the energy demand of all industrial heating processes, equivalent to a €39billion TAM in the EU-28 market only. Heaten's technology platform can achieve up to 400 degrees Celsius (R&D roadmap). Heaten AS has gone through the full cycle of R&D, prototyping, engineering, and design to successfully deliver 200kW heat pumps and industrial equipment to a customer. We are now looking to scaling the existing platform to meet industry needs and staying ahead of the competition by leading R&D and secure IP into medium-temperature process heat.
