TerraRad Tech builds remote soil moisture measurement systems based on cutting edge microwave radiometer technology. Our drone-based radiometers produce high resolution soil moisture maps that can feed irrigation prescriptions for smart farming applications. Optimal irrigation reduces crop stress and increases yield. The microwave technology can "see" through vegetation and measures sub-surface soil moisture near the crops' root-zone. Our L-band microwave radiometers are also used in the research field for algorithm development, satellite data down-scaling, and ground validation.

Infrascreen uses nano-technologies to design the next generation of greenhouse screens. Infrascreen develops light filters using nanotechnologies that enable drastic improvements in climate management within greenhouses. Our filters aim at better energy efficiency and reduced heat stress for the crops. We are co-developing with the PV-center of the CSEM in Neuchâtel. As of today, we have demonstrated the proof of concept of our product in lab conditions.
