Lidrotec: Funding, Investors & Team (Sep 2026)

Material processing with ultrashort laser pulses is currently one of the most innovative production and manufacturing processes, and allows high-precision cutting, drilling and structuring of a wide variety of materials. We aim to expand the application potential of ultrashort pulse laser processing through an innovation: We efficiently use liquids in the laser processing zone, which greatly cools the workpiece and removes ablation products such as particles. As a result, the processing speed can be increased whilst maintaining high precision and achieving significantly cleaner surfaces. Using our years of experience in the field of micromachining with ultrashort pulse lasers in liquids, we are currently working on building a robust industrial laser system. The implementation of this project is supported by the funding of the „EXIST-Forschungstransfer“ (BMWi).

About FundedIQ's Lidrotec Funding Data

FundedIQ tracks announced funding rounds and refreshes this profile every week. Round dates, stages and amounts are normalised to a single format, converted to US dollars, and de-duplicated: two records of the same round announced days apart are merged, and two genuinely different rounds are kept apart on the amounts they disclose. Amounts shown are the disclosed figures only — a round announced without a number is listed and excluded from the total rather than estimated.

Employee counts are reported bands, not exact headcounts. Founder and executive names carry the job title on record. Anything we do not hold for Lidrotec is left off this page rather than filled in.
