Rare Earth Global is an award-winning climate tech venture focused on sustainable alternatives to some of the most harmful products in circulation today. ===== We developed a world first - a hemp seed concentrate to replace soy in fish feed, that reduces carbon emissions by a minimum of 41%; which was featured in over 20 international publications, including The Times. With a zero waste approach to operations, the leftover hemp stalk material is used by the construction and manufacturing industries, which can lead to a carbon negative outcome. We are part of a working group with over 30 of the world’s largest construction companies and were chosen as a top 5 solution to replacing plastic globally from 1,478 startups. We focus on new product development from hemp (working with partners worldwide for best in class outcomes), and then scale the supply of these products locally. We have developed a proprietary farming and processing model, whereby we can meet price competitiveness to products in use today, and are actively working with large farming groups across the world. We have secured initial demand for over 50,000 tonnes of seed per year, meaning we will have 100,000 tonnes of stalk that can be made into more sustainable materials. This hemp stalk used in materials will remove 160,000 tonnes of CO₂ from the supply chain each year. We are targeting the removal of 1GT of CO₂ from the atmosphere and saving 430 million trees from deforestation when we reach scale.
Pure co-founders and childhood friends Mat and Dan set out with an ambition to create the healthiest, convenience pet food on the market. Since then it’s been our mission to inspire a healthier world for pets. All our food is made in own human grade food facility in Yorkshire, using only the very best fresh and raw ingredients, which are gently air-dried to lock in their goodness. Owners simply add water to create a healthy, natural meal for your dog. Made with the same quality ingredients you'd find in your own food, containing no grains, meat derivatives or any other nasties. We’ve had thousands of success stories that mention such improvements as glossier coats, happier tummies and emptier bowls.
