Since its founding in 2010 by industry veterans Emil Jattne and Joe Santos, Brooklyn Gin has been proudly handcrafted one batch at a time using artisan methods and the finest natural ingredients. It is the only gin made with fresh, hand-cut citrus peels and hand-crushed juniper berries. Brooklyn Gin was awarded the prestigious double gold medal at the 2015 New York World Wine & Spirits Competition. Joining accolades won: gold medal at the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, gold medal at the 2015 Craft Competition, 91 points and a rating of “Excellent, Highly Recommended” at the 2015 Ultimate Spirits Challenge; the double gold medal caps what has become a banner year for the award-winning “New American” style gin. “At Brooklyn Gin, we believe in doing things the right way, even if it might take a little more effort and time. We celebrate the art of small batch craft distilling, as well as those who still make things by hand.
