Crunchbase pricing

Three tiers, two of them priced. The exports live in the third.

Crunchbase publishes Starter and Pro and quotes Enterprise privately. The catch worth knowing before you buy is which side of that line bulk export and API access sit on. Every figure below carries its source and the date it was read.

Crunchbase pricing and features on this page were verified on 2026-08-22 . Every figure links to its source.

The tiers

Starter

$29/user/mo

Billed annually. Profiles, funding data and basic search. No advanced filters, no CRM integration, no bulk export.

Pro

$49–$99/user/mo

Billed annually, rate depends on seat count. Advanced search, saved searches, alerts, Salesforce and HubSpot integrations, Chrome extension.

Enterprise

Not published

Quoted on users, API volume, export frequency and term. This is where API access and bulk export live.

Figures from an anonymised third-party contract dataset, read 2026-08-22 and quoted in full at the foot of this page. We were not able to render Crunchbase's own pricing page from an automated client, so treat these as benchmarks and confirm against their site before buying.

The line that catches people out

Pro looks like the working tier and for research it is. But bulk export and API access are Enterprise, which means the affordable tier is the one you cannot get the data out of in volume. If your plan involves pulling a list into a CRM or a sequencer every week, the price you should be comparing is the Enterprise quote, not the $49 to $99 on the page.

It is also per seat. Three people on Pro is three subscriptions, which is where a two-hundred-dollar-a-month tool quietly becomes a four-figure annual line.

This is not a like-for-like swap. Crunchbase covers far more companies over a far longer period, plus acquisitions, IPOs and investor profiles we hold nothing on. The comparison only holds if what you needed was funding rounds and contacts. The full feature-by-feature version is in our Crunchbase comparison.

Crunchbase pricing questions

How much is Crunchbase Pro?

Third-party benchmarking puts list pricing between $49 and $99 per user per month when billed annually, depending on seat count and contract structure. Pro is the tier most sales and business-development teams buy.

How much is Crunchbase Starter?

About $29 per user per month billed annually. It covers company profiles, funding data and basic search, but not advanced filters, CRM integrations or bulk export.

What does the Crunchbase API cost?

API access is an Enterprise feature and is not published. Enterprise is quoted on user count, API call volume, export frequency and term, and third-party benchmarks put those contracts in the tens of thousands a year.

Can I export data on Pro?

Bulk export sits on Enterprise, not Pro. That is the single most common surprise in Crunchbase pricing: the tier that looks affordable is the one that will not let you take the data out in volume.

Why are these figures cited to a third party?

Because crunchbase.com/pricing is served behind a bot check that will not render for an automated reader, so we could not verify their page ourselves. Rather than pretend otherwise, the figures below are quoted from an anonymised contract dataset with the date attached. Check their page yourself before making a decision on price.

What is the cheaper way to get just funding data?

If the job is recently funded companies with contacts, FundedIQ Alerts is $19 a month, per account rather than per seat, or about 0.8c per company across a year. Pro at $99 adds the searchable archive and exports without an Enterprise conversation.
