equal1: Funding, Investors & Team (Sep 2026)
Equal1 is accelerating the introduction of useful, cost-effective quantum computers within a three-year time horizon. The company has developed a disruptive, scalable and cost-effective quantum computing technology, based on a commercially available silicon semiconductor process. Our solution uses nanometer-scale quantum dots to form qubits on a standard silicon CMOS process. Along with silicon qubits, we have integrated all functions required for a quantum processing unit (QPU) – the brain of the quantum computer – which operates at 3 kelvin with over 10 million transistors. This is the first integrated quantum processing unit of its kind.
equal1 has raised $11.4M across 3 funding rounds on record, the most recent an undisclosed round announced in Feb 2025.

About FundedIQ's equal1 Funding Data
FundedIQ tracks announced funding rounds and refreshes this profile every week. Round dates, stages and amounts are normalised to a single format, converted to US dollars, and de-duplicated: two records of the same round announced days apart are merged, and two genuinely different rounds are kept apart on the amounts they disclose. Amounts shown are the disclosed figures only — a round announced without a number is listed and excluded from the total rather than estimated.
Employee counts are reported bands, not exact headcounts. Founder and executive names carry the job title on record. Anything we do not hold for equal1 is left off this page rather than filled in.
