KisanHub

KisanHub is a Crop Intelligence Platform and was borne out of a desire to give farmers everywhere a sophisticated, meaningful yet, simple decision-support. The platform connects enterprises with their growers to provide crop intelligence through crop specific apps and is focussed on in-season agronomy advice on pest/diseases, fertiliser application, irrigation management and yield prediction to reduce the input costs and improve profit margins. These insights are provided to farmers and their enterprises by assimilating and aggregating disparate datasets. The suite of applications fit around the enterprise’s needs, with the key operational and agronomic data being seamlessly shared throughout the platform. The aim of KisanHub is to connect agriculture for the benefit of farmers globally to help them grow more and use less. KisanHub’s core technology brings together public and private data and the platform is built to connect farmers with the rest of the supply chain. This connectivity is achieved through the collaboration tools provided on the platform. This in turn empowers all the market participants to communicate with farmers for in-season operational, agronomic or business advisory services. The aggregated data on crops provide supply chain visibility to enterprises where such contractual relations with farmers exist. The platform provides advisory on pest/diseases, fertiliser application, irrigation management and yield prediction so farmers can apply right input of a right product at the right time and in the right quantity.

Rare Earth Global

Rare Earth Global is an award-winning climate tech venture focused on sustainable alternatives to some of the most harmful products in circulation today. ===== We developed a world first - a hemp seed concentrate to replace soy in fish feed, that reduces carbon emissions by a minimum of 41%; which was featured in over 20 international publications, including The Times. With a zero waste approach to operations, the leftover hemp stalk material is used by the construction and manufacturing industries, which can lead to a carbon negative outcome. We are part of a working group with over 30 of the world’s largest construction companies and were chosen as a top 5 solution to replacing plastic globally from 1,478 startups. We focus on new product development from hemp (working with partners worldwide for best in class outcomes), and then scale the supply of these products locally. We have developed a proprietary farming and processing model, whereby we can meet price competitiveness to products in use today, and are actively working with large farming groups across the world. We have secured initial demand for over 50,000 tonnes of seed per year, meaning we will have 100,000 tonnes of stalk that can be made into more sustainable materials. This hemp stalk used in materials will remove 160,000 tonnes of CO₂ from the supply chain each year. We are targeting the removal of 1GT of CO₂ from the atmosphere and saving 430 million trees from deforestation when we reach scale.

Soil Benchmark

Looking for a Soil Management Plan Template? Look no further! The right map layers in the right place: DEFRA requires a range of risk map layers including run-off risk, erosion risk, wind erosion risk and nitrate leaching risk. Our platform automatically provides these layers using data from the Environment Agency and British Geological Survey. Sensitive areas identified: Our system automatically retrieves boreholes and water features within 50m of every field. It also checks whether each field overlaps with any sensitive areas (e.g. NVZs, SSSIs, Historic Battlefields and many more). Smart proposals: Developed in close association with dozens of independent farm advisors; proposals for each field are automatically generated based on its land use, slope, soil texture and other environmental attributes. Editable: We know you're the experts when it comes to your farms. You therefore have the power to edit proposals, risk scores, boreholes and water features to ensure your plan is accurate. Upgrade to generate your report in minutes: All of the required information to get you through an RPA inspection is bundled into a report you can be proud of (£200 per SBI number for full reporting per year - discounted rates available for agronomists/farms looking to upgrade multiple SBIs).
