We lead the way in the upcoming agricultural revolution known as Cellular Agriculture. Cellular agriculture enables the production of various animal products such as milk, eggs, meat, leather, and fur from cell cultures rather than from actual animals. Despite its innovative potential, this field lacks sufficient support from traditional funding sources. This is where New Harvest steps in: 1) We actively seek out and facilitate funding for open research in cellular agriculture, encouraging partnerships and external support to expand interest and investment in the field. Each research project we fund serves a strategic purpose in advancing the overall field. 2) We bring together a diverse community of stakeholders in cellular agriculture, including scientists, academia, funders, industry leaders, policymakers, and regulatory authorities, to encourage collaboration and a unified approach to progress. 3) We educate and engage stakeholders and the public through various avenues, such as media outreach and incorporating cellular agriculture into educational curriculums, to generate increased funding, talent, and acceptance for the field. By supporting trailblazers in cellular agriculture, we are laying the foundation for a new bioeconomy.
