Pattern Project
Pattern Project is a startup that specializes in clothing manufacturing on a small scale. We have developed machinery and software that allows various types of fashion businesses, such as independent brands, retailers, and tailoring companies, to produce custom-fit clothing right in their stores. Our goal is to promote sustainable and economically efficient production methods and encourage the shift towards manufacturing in the UK. In addition, we are addressing the increasing demand for niche women's clothing sizes and the need for custom-fit garments, as research has shown that this enhances both the functionality and emotional durability of the clothes. Our software enables customers to enter their measurements and modify a pattern in real-time. Once the payment is made, the pattern is sent to our desktop machine, which optimizes the use of fabric and cuts the garment accordingly. The desktop machine is designed to be safe for retail environments, weighing 40 kgs and occupying a space of 2mt x 1mt. Under our brand, Pattern Project, we offer 'Made-by-you' custom-fit clothing kits for individuals interested in sewing their own garments at home. These kits are designed to be easy and quick to assemble, saving time compared to traditional sewing methods, while also giving the makers a sense of ownership and helping them improve their skills.

Pip started WNU to create the perfect shirt. Inspired by men’s tailoring, British heritage and timeless style, WNU was started in London in 2017 out of our founder’s need for shirts that were perfectly adjusted for women, sustainably sourced and stood the test of time. WNU is all about simplicity - paired back, laid back, timeless, effortless shirts - just like the woman who wears them and the icons that inspired them; Carolyn Besette, Jane Birkin and Charlotte Rampling. Our shirts are not about trends or fleeting style moments, but about a wardrobe essential in which to live a life. Today, WNU reflects the brand we set out to be more than ever because we are now officially B Corp certified.
