Signifier Medical Technologies: Funding, Investors & Team (Aug 2026)

Snoozeal was founded in 2015 in United Kingdom. Co-founder Prof. Dr Anshul Sama, working in a multidisciplinary sleep team, was deeply empathic with many of his patients that were struggling with conventional treatment options that had failed to change in the last two decades. Not dissimilar to practice in many parts of conventional medicine, the emphasis was on treatment of the end result (i.e. splinting the airway open) rather than treating the root cause- collapse of airway due to excessive loss of muscle tone. Over the years Prof Sama came across many devices, all of which had to be worn during sleep, were invariably uncomfortable, only effective when in use and further disrupted the already poor sleep quality.

About FundedIQ's Signifier Medical Technologies Funding Data

FundedIQ tracks announced funding rounds and refreshes this profile every week. Round dates, stages and amounts are normalised to a single format, converted to US dollars, and de-duplicated: two records of the same round announced days apart are merged, and two genuinely different rounds are kept apart on the amounts they disclose. Amounts shown are the disclosed figures only — a round announced without a number is listed and excluded from the total rather than estimated.

Employee counts are reported bands, not exact headcounts. Founder and executive names carry the job title on record. Anything we do not hold for Signifier Medical Technologies is left off this page rather than filled in.
