CHECKTOBUILD
CHECKTOBUILD was created in response to the current needs of the construction industry. With construction megaprojects moving around $7 trillion each year and projected to grow by 109% in the next decade, it is concerning that 1200 construction workers die annually in Qatar alone. Additionally, the role of construction supervisor is ranked as the ninth most dangerous job worldwide. It is also disheartening to see that nearly 98% of megaprojects exceed both their budget and timeline. To address these issues, the construction industry is increasingly adopting the Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology. BIM is set to be used in 98% of megaprojects within the next five years. This is where CHECKTOBUILD comes in. As a construtech startup, our mission is to provide an autonomous inspection service and business intelligence for large construction projects. We achieve this by integrating BIM models, developed by construction companies, with IoT and drone systems through our software platform. Our workflow consists of uploading the BIM model, capturing construction progress with drones, creating a real-time BIM model from the drone photos, and providing comprehensive documentation, business intelligence, and supervision alerts. Our focus is on reducing waste, saving time and costs in inspections, preventing accidents, detecting errors early on, and generating valuable real-time data and business insights. With our expertise, we aim to help the construction sector thrive and elevate its significance in the 21st-century market.
