Molecular Gate refer to an innovative class of small-molecule drugs developed by Gate Bioscience. These drugs target the secretory translocon (Sec61 channel) in cells to selectively block and degrade harmful extracellular proteins before they can be secreted and cause disease.
Modern medicine fails because it studies life in static environments. 60Nd revolutionizes the field with NeoMag, the first magneto-mechanical platform designed to simulate real pathological processes on biological systems. By combining smart materials with AI-driven models, we induce precise, non-invasive mechanical forces directly onto cells. NeoMag bridges the gap between the lab bench and living tissue, accelerating drug discovery and significantly reducing the need for animal testing. Our US/EU patented tech, tested in word class labs like Institut Pasteur or Imperial College, uses AI and smart materials to apply precise 2D/3D forces. Backed by prestigious programas like EIC Transition, and an award-winning scientific team, we provide ultra-predictive models that accelerate drug discovery to Pharmas and Biotechs in fields like cancer, derma or neuro.
Devicare designs point-of-care medical devices that monitor, diagnose and treat chronic diseases. Universal Diagnostics S.A. (UDX) is a company in Spain that specializes in in-vitro diagnostics. Their focus is on developing non-invasive blood-based solutions for the early detection of cancer, during a time when treatment options are more abundant and survival rates are higher. UDX strongly believes that detecting cancer at an early stage is the most effective way to combat it. Their diagnostic platform is designed to identify various types of cancer, such as colorectal, prostate, liver, pancreatic, lung, and breast cancer (which accounts for over 50% of all new cancer cases per year), through a single blood test. This is made possible by using a curated collection of proprietary methylation markers. The blood sample can be taken during a routine check-up and then processed at a reference laboratory or hospital using standard equipment. The results are then uploaded to the UDX Cloud for final analysis using an algorithm. UDX's initial marker panel focuses on screening for colorectal cancer, which helps identify individuals who should be referred for colonoscopy. Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer and the second most deadly cancer worldwide. However, it is often detected at later stages, resulting in significantly lower survival rates (11% in stage IV compared to 85% in stage I). To support the development of their test and carry out necessary research and operations, UDX collaborates with international research institutions, hospitals, universities, and biobanks across the globe.
