PECA Labs

Developing novel medical devices for marginalized groups is the main goal of PECA Labs. Our initial product, the Masa Valve, was developed by surgeons and engineers and then clinically implanted and validated. It will prevent countless children from undergoing open heart surgery every year. Despite the rigorous regulatory requirements that, for most businesses, have made the development of life-saving and life-sustaining (class III) medical devices cost-prohibitive for many pediatric conditions as well as the numerous rare, or "orphan," diseases that affect tens of millions of Americans and hundreds of millions of humans worldwide, PECA Labs' unique pathway will allow us to bring the Masa Valve through FDA approval. For an underserved market, PECA Labs provides a fully developed solution with a distinct value proposition.
