We are a much smaller product. That is the pitch, not an apology.
ZoomInfo is the largest contact database in this comparison and costs a median of about $33,500 a year on a contract you cannot see the price of. FundedIQ does one narrow thing: it tells you which companies raised money last week and gives you a founder to email. If that was the job, this is a very different bill.

The short answer
You are a small team, the trigger you sell on is funding, and a five-figure annual contract with credit overages is not proportionate to the problem.
You are staffing a sales floor, you need direct dials and intent data, and coverage across the whole market matters more than recency on one slice of it.
What usually decides it: how many people need a seat. Ours is one price per account; theirs multiplies.

Contactability where we claim it
We will not out-cover ZoomInfo and will not pretend to. What we can show is the part we do claim: recently funded companies by sector and how many carry a founder we can put a name and a deliverable address to.

Where ZoomInfo is the better choice
- You are staffing a sales team and need contact coverage across the whole market, not just companies that raised this month.
- You need direct dials and mobile numbers. We hold no phone numbers whatsoever.
- You want intent data, website visitor identification or conversation intelligence.
- You have the budget and procurement process for a five-figure annual contract, and the seat count to earn the volume discount.
What we do not do
- Phone numbers, direct dials or mobile numbers.
- Intent data, visitor de-anonymisation or conversation intelligence.
- Contact coverage outside recently funded companies.
- Enterprise procurement, SSO, or a named account team.
What people ask before switching
How much does ZoomInfo cost?
There is no published price. Vendr, which aggregates anonymised real contracts, puts the median at about $33,500 a year with an observed range from $7,200 to $155,190, depending on seats, which platforms you take and credit volume.
Can FundedIQ replace ZoomInfo?
For a sales team that needs broad contact coverage and phone numbers, no. For an agency, recruiter or consultant whose real need is knowing which companies just raised, it can replace the reason they bought ZoomInfo in the first place, at a fraction of the cost.
What is the catch at $19 a month?
That the dataset is narrow on purpose. We only hold companies that have announced funding, we hold no phone numbers, and we do not send email. If any of those three matter, this is the wrong product and we would rather you knew now.
Will I get an unexpected bill?
No. Pro includes 2,000 credits a month with no rollover and no overage billing, so the worst case is that you run out and wait for the next period. There is no mechanism by which we can charge you more than the plan price.
Is there a trial?
14 days, card required, cancel in one click from any email we send. The trial is capped rather than crippled: Alerts covers two weekly issues at 50 rows each, Pro opens the full app with 100 credits.
